Chris WebbChris was a choral scholar at the University of Cambridge, where he sang with the choir of Clare College and the University Chamber Choir. He is now a lay clerk at Southwark Cathedral and sings with renowned choirs including the Monteverdi Choir, London Voices, Farm Street Singers, and Blossom Street. He has also worked extensively with the Zürcher Sing-Akademie in Zurich, Switzerland. His recent operatic roles have included Colline (Puccini La boheme – Merry Opera Company) and Sarastro (Mozart Magic Flute – Opera Anywhere), and he is a member of the English National Opera’s ‘Opera Works’ young artists’ programme 2016-17. He learns singing with Alex Ashworth. |
